Music at Largymore
School Band & Instruments
We have woodwind and brass tuition in school. Auditions are held for Year 4, 5 and 6 each year offering our pupils the opportunity to take up a musical instrument and to receive one to one tuition. These are subsidised by the school.
In return the pupils play in the school band for planned events.
School Choir
We are very proud of our musical tradition at Largymore and Year 4-7 pupils have the opportunity to perform in the school choir. They sing at special events and concerts both in and out of school. They practise every Thursday with Mrs Preshur and Mrs McCluskey.
