We love stories in P3 and for World Book Day we were able to celebrate in lots of lovely ways.
We were treated to a visit from local author Valerie McGregor who shared her book ‘The Little Drumlins’. A lovely story about the small hills around Ballynahinch and some very kind children who try to save them.
We also were invited to a special story telling event at the Islands Arts Centre, where Masako Carey shared traditional tales from around the world. It involved us learning some words in Japanese and acting along with the story. What a great day out!
