Natalie from Sentinus delivered a STEM workshop to our Primary 7 class based around our Titanic topic. We undertook science experiments, learning about making a hypothesis and buoyancy of objects in the water. We made our own tinfoil ships which we put under the test with coins. P7 also learnt about surface tension and experimented with dropping water onto a coin using a pipette. Finally, we learnt about Morse code and created our secret word to create with Morse code. Primary 7 had a great morning!
