On Thursday, our P6 class had a fantastic morning with Kerry from Lisburn and Castlereagh Council. Kerry delivered an exciting and informative talk all about bats!
We discovered fascinating facts about the different species of bats found in Northern Ireland, as well as bats from around the world. The class explored why bats are so important to our environment, learning about their life cycle and the crucial role they play in pollination.
Everyone was amazed to find out just how much bats contribute to nature—and how we can help protect them. A big thank you to Kerry for making the session so engaging and fun!
