P6 pupils have been busy exploring the world of measurement! Using rulers, measuring tapes and metre sticks, they estimated and accurately measured a variety of objects around the classroom.
The activity helped everyone think carefully about when to use millimetres, centimetres, metres, and even kilometres. It was a brilliant way to see how measurement is used in everyday life and to sharpen those estimating skills!
