During February P3 carried out science investigations. Our challenge was to predict how quickly ice would melt. We used ice cubes and wrapped one in bubble wrap, put salt on another and left one as it was. We had to observe and draw the three ice cubes at the beginning, then after 5, 10 and 15 minutes. The one which melted fastest was the one covered with salt. This showed us how salt is used on the roads in winter to melt the ice.
