P2 have been learning all about the Arctic and Antarctic through their cross-curricular topic 'Polar Regions.' On Friday, we received a very special delivery all the way from the Antarctic: penguin eggs! We had lots of fun excavating the penguins from their eggs and experimenting with different substances to see which would melt the ice. P2 all agreed that salt was the most effective de-icer! Great excavating and experimenting P2!
