After our famine research and reading several chapters from "Under the Hawthorn Tree" we have been participating in 'Walking Debate' and 'Freeze Frame' activities. Ms Wilson said she was very impressed with our vocabulary and how we debated our points during the 'Walking Debate.' Michaela said that she like this because, "We got our own say and could give our own opinions." Everyone had a chance to share their thoughts and use their research to help form their opinions.
Miss Cargill and Ms Wilson really enjoyed how we dramatised scenes from "Under the Hawthorn Tree." Charlotte said that you can still tell the story by just being still. Sam liked the teamwork during 'Freeze Frame'
