I loved being a scientist. We made predictions and then did our experiment. Our group put candy canes into oil, water, vinegar and lemonade. We waited for 10 minutes. I was surprised. The water and lemonade changed them white. The oil didn't do anything! I wrote the results on my sheet and drew a diagram. We couldn't eat the candy canes. That was very sad!
