Year 1 were very excited to have Claire from Blackberry Farm visit us!
Claire brought with her;
2 lambs
2 kids
the little red hen
a bunny
some chicks
2 terrapins
We got to feed the lambs and the kids with a bottle.
We got take the two kids for a walk around the hall - they were very naughty kids and went to the toilet everywhere!!
We got to hold the chicks and the terrapins.
We got to stroke the Little Red Hen and brush the rabbit's soft fur.
We learnt lots about Blackberry Farm and all the animals.
This is not the end of our Farm Experience...
Claire has left us some eggs in an incubator which we will be looking after and hopefully see them hatch into chicks next week!
We have to be very quiet in class so as not to scare them!
