P3 have been very busy this week learning about staying safe when out in the dark.
We investigated which coats would be easiest to see against a black background and discussed which features help us be seen.
The class then designed their own coats, school bags or hi-vis jackets demonstrating what they had discovered by making them brightly coloured, using fluorescent colours or adding reflective strips.
At the end of the week we took part in Ditch the Dark Day when we made sure to come to school in a way we would be seen in the dark morning.
