Welcome to Primary Six
Welcome to Primary 6! Mr McKane is our class tecacher.
This is an exciting year filled with new challenges and opportunities for learning. Our WAU (World Around Us) topics include Vikings, Fairtrade, Volcanoes, and Flight - themes that spark curiosity and creativity.
Homework
Homework is set Monday to Thursday and usually includes:
- Spelling practice
- Mental Maths
- Reading Eggspress
- Mathletics
- A short written task
P.E.
Our P.E. days are Monday and Thursday. Please ensure your child has the correct kit on these days.
Swimming
During Term 1, we swim at Lisburn Leisure Plex every Thursday. Children may wear their P.E. kit to and from school on swimming days.
Daily Routine
- School Day: 8:45am – 3:00pm
- Arrival: P6 pupils enter via the rear gate
- Home Time: Pupils leave through the front gate
